Isager Soft Fine

This yarn is a finer version of Isager's Soft range, popular for its softness and brushed feel. Isager Soft Fine has a core of silk on which a strand of alpaca and yak is added as a loopy bouclé, which is then brushed to make a fluffy yarn. Although the two yarns are produced differently and contain different fibres, their texture is very similar.

Isager Soft Fine contains yak wool, and the depth of the colour palette derives from the dark wool colour of the yak. Its softness compares to Silk Mohair, although knitting with this yarn is a completely different experience, especially when knitting with one strand only.

Isager Soft Fine: 4.5mm  / US 7 = 16 sts / 26 rows
Isager Soft Fine: 6mm / US 10 = 13 sts / 26  rows
