Merchant & Mills sewing pattern. A pair of culotte trousers featuring a fly front, front pleats, in-seam pockets and elasticated back waistband.
Skill level: Intermediate. All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern. This is a multi-size Paper pattern including sizes 6 – 18.
Suitable fabrics: mid-weight cotton canvas, 8oz organic sanded twill, corduroy, light-medium weight wollens and 7-10oz denim. Lighter weight cloths like linen and tencel/linen will give you a softer silhouette.
You will also need: 1 x 18 cm / 7" zip; 1 x 2 cm / 3/4" button; 0.4 m / 1/2 yd interfacing; 0.4 m / 1/2 yd lining; 54 cm / 21 1/4" x 4 cm / 1 1/2" elastic.
