So Basic sweater kit

A kit for the So Basic Sweater, designed by Maxim Cyr for our yarn Mondim. So Basic is a simple top-down circular raglan sweater. The pattern is NOT included in this kit, and can be purchased directly from the designer's Ravelry page.

This sweater is designed to fit with 3 to 5” (7,5 a 12,5 cm) of positive ease at the chest. Choose a size 3 to 5” (7,5 a 12,5 cm) larger than your chest.

Bust circumference: 33½ (37½, 41½, 45½, 49½) (53½, 57½, 61½, 65½) / 84 (94, 104, 114, 124) (134, 144, 154, 164) cm.

The kit includes:

• 3 (4, 4, 4, 5) (5, 6, 6, 7) skeins (depending on size) of Rosa Pomar Mondim (100% fine Portuguese wool, 100g, 385m) in the chosen shade.

Option "Choose color": please use the special instructions field in the shopping cart to indicate your choice of shade of Mondim.

*Note: The sample in photo 1 was knitted in Mondim 301. As this is a discontinued shade, Retrosaria suggests shade C571 from the latest batch as a substitute. The sample in photos 2 and 3 was knitted in Mondim hand dyed by La Bien Aimée in the shade Emeline. 

Recommended needles (not included): US 4 (3.5 mm) circular, at least 32 in (80 cm) long and US 3 (3.25 mm) circular, at least 32 in (80 cm) long - or sizes necessary to get gauge.

Gauge: 26 sts and 30 rnds = 4 in (10 cm) in stockinette stitch with larger needles.
